Saturday, October 8th, 2016 the night of the sold out YOKKAO 19 and YOKKAO 20 took place once again at the famous Macron Stadium in Bolton.
Coming from all parts of England & Europe the attendants described the night as "The Real Deal for Muay Thai". At the 20th event, YOKKAO established not only itself as the Premiere Muay Thai Promotion outside of Thailand, but set the country of England and their fighters at the pinnacle of Muay Thai. A pure dedication result made by the YOKKAO UK promoters and the YOKKAO Team, trainers, fighters and fans of Muay Thai who gave their best to yet again write a page in the annals of Muay Thai History. YOKKAO 19 LIAM HARRISON VS FABIO PINCA Awaited by fans for 11 years, Liam Harrison vs Fabio Pinca is the fight of the year. Fabio Pinca fought very clever relying on his instincts to feel Harrison’s striking and controlled the fight during the 5 rounds. Liam Harrison's speed combined with his technical ability was not enough to determinate the win, Fabio Pinca scored clear shots with middle kicks taking the win by points. A rematch in France has been agreed by both fighters during the press-conference interview. YOKKAO 20 MANACHAI VS PANICOS YUSUF The 19yrs old Manachai YOKKAOSAENCHAIGYM continues his climbing into the international scene giving fans the opportunity to watch his brand of pure Muay Thai Fighting. Coming from the recent 2nd place at the 8man Toyota Marathon in Thailand, Manachai fought Panicos Yusuf exactly like he fights in the Stadiums of Thailand: first 2 rounds of studying than the "money rounds" (3rd, 4th, 5th) escalating to full power. Manachai didn't play games and went for the kill: strong knees and powerful middle kicks gave him the win by points over Panicos Yusuf. JORDAN WATSON VS BEN HODGE The huge domestic clash between North and South established the current YOKKAO World Champion, Jordan Watson the undisputed Top Muay Thai fighter at 70kg.
The fight was 5 rounds of full non stop action from both sides. Jordan Watson dominated with powerful body shots and middle kicks taking the win by points. Fans are already asking to see Ben Hodge again in the ring, this time in his usual fight category of 72,5g. JAKE PURDY VS BRAD STANTON Ranked #1 at 72,5kg in the YOKKAO UK Rankings, Jake Purdy went down to 69kg and demonstrated yet again that he is definitely one of the best Fighters in UK. The brilliant performance by Brad Stanton was not enough for Jake Purdy who controlled the whole fight. FIGHT OF THE NIGHT JACK KENNEDY VS NATHAN BENDON The Fight of the Night goes to Jack Kennedy vs Nathan Bendon. Fighters went on with 5 rounds of pure mayhem leaving the attendance astonished. Jack Kennedy won vs Nathan Bendon by points and will be one of the first videos to be uploaded on Youtube. FIGHTER ON THE SPOT MYK ESTLICK VS CARLOS CAMPOS Myk Estlick seal his 6th continues victory in the YOKKAO events, making him the Fighter on The Spot. Estlick won by points against a much more experienced fighter and Spanish Muay Thai Champion Carlos Campos. THE FEMALE FIGHT A change of opponent for Amy Pirnie made her more hungry for the victory. Pirnie damaged the french Ludivine Lesnier with heavy low kicks causing her retirement.
