Previously scheduled to fight Reece McAllister who recently retired from the fight scene a few weeks ago, Jordan Watson has a new challenger for YOKKAO 20: the WMC World Champion Ben Hodge. Born and fighting under the British flag, Ben Hodge will be the first British fighter Jordan Watson has faced off against in the last 8 years. Coming in with a record of 50 fights and 41 wins, a WMC World Title, WPMF European Title and ISKA British Title, Ben Hodge is a very slick and stylish southpaw well known worldwide for his wonderful Thai style. Jordan Watson, current YOKKAO World Champion -70kg built up his name worldwide fighting against the best 70kg fighters around the world including Buakaw, Yodsaenklai, Aikpracha and Sayiok.
In his last YOKKAO events, Jordan drawed with Kem Sitsongpeenong, KO'ed Michael Piscitello, lost the YOKKAO World Title and took it back with a 1-1 against Sanny Dahlbeck, one of the most talented foreign fighters in YOKKAO history. Jordan Watson's training regimen is strictly controlled in the UK by none other than 3x British, Commonwealth and European Champion Richard Smith, trainer and founder of Bad Company YOKKAO Training Center in Leeds, which is also home of YOKKAO World Champion -65kg Liam Harrison. When in Thailand, Watson's home is the new YOKKAO Training Center in Bangkok where he trains with some of the best fighters from the YOKKAO Team including Saenchai, Singdam and the young new entry Manachai, scheduled to fight against Panicos Yusuf on the same night.
