YOKKAO 47: DEAN JAMES vs DAREN ROLLAND
Fight fans are in for a treat as another exciting match-up has just been added to the YOKKAO 47-48 line-up. It’s the third UK vs France bout on the card and features veteran fighter, Dean James against the French phenom, Daren Rolland.
At just 21 years of age, Daren Rolland is the current WBC Muay Thai featherweight world champion after a sensational round-2 KO win last August. The young phenom also fought against Muay Thai legend, Sam-A Kaiyanghadao in his last outing. Training out of Team El Quandili in France, Rolland will be making his promotional debut on YOKKAO 47 against renowned UK fighter, Dean James.
Barely months off his spectacular comeback fight against Yodchai on YOKKAO 43, James is back again for more action on our promotions. Despite taking a loss in the last fight, the Wolverhampton-based fighter put up an outstanding performance that has secured him a place for the coming Bolton show. James returns on March 7 to pit his experience against his young French opponent, with an outcome that will be hard to predict.
Taking place on March 7 at the University of Bolton Stadium, Dean James vs Daren Rolland will be featured alongside other top-billing acts including Niamh Kinehan vs Nora Cornolle and the main event bout starring UK legend, Liam Harrison vs Jeremy Payet.
