YOKKAO 50: Brian Totty vs Nathan Bendon

Things are firing up for YOKKAO 49-50 which is less than a month away from fight night on Sunday 8th August. The double event will be returning to the University of Bolton Stadium with a stacked card starring the best in the region.

Two bouts have been announced so far with Chris Shaw vs Panicos Yusuf in the main event for YOKKAO 49; and Jacob Smith vs Tam McCourt in a featherweight ranking clash on YOKKAO 50. The third confirmed match up is set to be another smash hit.

Two of the promotion’s best fighters are set to make their return to Bolton for what will undoubtedly be a contender for fight of the night. It’s a Super Lightweight showdown featuring Brian Totty vs Nathan Bendon.

Totty is back on our show once again following his stunning victory against Noel Gomis on last year’s YOKKAO 47. Fighting out of Glasgow’s Everyday Athlete Gym and the Sit Muang Thai fight team, Totty is known for his technical skills and strong clinching techniques. The Scottish fighter will be making his fifth YOKKAO appearance and will look to extend his streak against Nathan Bendon at YOKKAO 50.

Fighting out of Birmingham’s NJB Academy, Bendon is no stranger to the UK and YOKKAO fight fans. He is a former number one seed in the Super Lightweight division who has taken on the likes of the UK’s best including Jack Kennedy and Chris Shaw. Bendon also delivered a memorable performance when he stepped in to face Rambo Phet Por Tor Aor for the main event on YOKKAO 32. He is a power puncher and an indomitable fighting spirit to match. This is definitely a bout to watch for.
