YOKKAO Next Generation and YOKKAO Kids were introduced in 2015 and 2017 respectively, to give young fighters a platform to showcase their skills. The 2 programs aim to provide wider exposure and offers athletes a potential career in professional Muay Thai.
With the talent-search initiative moving progressively towards global expansion, YOKKAO promotion team has identified Turin Italy as the next in line to host the events. YOKKAO Next Generation was recently held on 1 December at the Zola Predosa Sports Hall in Bologna. The show was headlined by the cracking match-up between French-Algerian fighter, Karim Bennoui and Italian representative, Cristian Faustino.
As was previously announced, a full-scale YOKKAO Kids Next Generation will be staged on 27 January 2019 in Turin. The event will take place a day after YOKKAO 35 - 36 at the 5000-seat PalaRuffini arena. The scale of the show sets the mark for what could be the biggest promotion for junior fighters anywhere in the world.
The 2 events are now brought together for a double-bill showcase on Sunday 16 December. YOKKAO Next Generation Southampton will be organized once again in partnership with Thai Boxe Mania and YOKKAO 35 - 36 promoter, Carlo Barbuto. Fans can expect a stacked card of Muay Thai fights from up-and-coming fighters and young competitors in Italy.
YOKKAO Kids & Next Generation Italy will take place at Thai Boxe Torino (address: Via Pietro Giuria bis 30). Event starts at 11:00. For more details on the coming event, please contact the organizer at 011-6962240.
