YOKKAO Signs 17-year-old Boxing Champion Sangarthit Looksaikongdin

YOKKAO Fight Team is expanding again. The latest addition to the all-stars team is 17-year-old boxing phenom, Sangarthit Looksaikongdin. He is also the first professional boxer to join the YOKKAO Fight Team as a sponsored fighter.

Born into a family of fighters, Sangarthit started training Muay Thai from a young age. He transitioned to boxing and turned pro at just 14 years old, winning the WBA Asia Championship twice along the way. The 17-year-old holds a pristine boxing record of 11 wins with 6 KOs. He is currently ranked 15th in the world (WBA 140lbs/63.5kg division).

Sangarthit trains under his father, Kru Noparit Yohanngo who is the head trainer at Looksaikongdin Gym in Thailand’s Min Buri district. The camp is renowned for its hard-punching Muay Mat style. Sangarthit is also the younger brother of female Muay Thai champions Aida and Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin who are members of the YOKKAO Fight Team.

Sangarthit made international news in 2020 after winning the WBA Asia title as one of the youngest boxers to do so. The year before, he picked up The Fighter Tournament champion as well as the Toyota Revo champion competing under Muay Thai rules. At just 17 years old, Sangarthit has a promising career ahead.

Stay tuned for more updates of Sangarthit Looksaikongdin as we support him on his professional fighting journey.
