Muay Thai Fight Career

Superlek’s career has been marked by technical brilliance, grit, and constant evolution. At just 15, he clinched his first Thailand Champion title in the 105 lbs weight division against Phetsakon FA Group in 2011. The following year, he repeated the feat at 112 lbs, defeating Palangphon Watcharachai. But it was 2012 that proved to be a breakthrough year. That year, Superlek not only captured the Lumpinee Stadium 115 lbs title by defeating Muangthai Sor Bounliyam but also successfully defended it against Sangmanee Sor Tienpo. His performance earned him the prestigious Sports Authority of Thailand Fighter of the Year award—one of the highest honors in Thai combat sports.

Continuing his climb in 2013, Superlek moved up to 118 lbs but stumbled briefly against his rival Mondam Wor Werapon in a bout for the Thailand Champion title. Not one to be kept down for long, Superlek avenged the loss three months later in a rematch for the Lumpinee 118 lbs belt. He sealed the win with a devastating right elbow KO in the third round, adding another Lumpinee title to his name. He capped off the year by winning the Thailand Champion belt at 126 lbs after a decision win over Thanonchai Tor Sangtiennoi.

Despite facing setbacks in 2014 and 2015 with no new titles, Superlek remained a top contender in both Lumpinee and Rajadamnern rankings. He took on the best of his era, including Sam-A Kaiyanghadaogym, Superbank Sakchaichode, and Pornsanae Sitmonchai. These years served to sharpen his resolve and shape him into an even more formidable fighter.

His comeback was emphatic. In 2016, at the newly built Lumpinee Stadium, he defeated Saeksan Or. Kwanmuang in an all-out war, earning the WBC Muay Thai 130 lbs World Champion title. That same year marked his international debut, where he delivered a stunning round 2 KO via right kick against Yasuyuki in Japan’s Suk Wanchai Muay Thai Super Fight.

Today, Superlek reigns supreme on the global stage. His transition to ONE Championship saw him rise to even greater heights. He captured the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title and the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title—demonstrating his adaptability, discipline, and ability to dominate across multiple combat styles.
