Spencer Enlisted For All Star Fight: Army World Soldier
All Star Fight promotion unveiled the Army World Soldier event at a press conference on 13 Feb. Organized in partnership with the Royal Thai Army and headlined by global Muay Thai icon, Buakaw Banchamek, the event will be held on 9 March in Bangkok.
A total of 8 bouts have been confirmed, featuring a lineup of the biggest names in Muay Thai and kickboxing. Buakaw will be joined by his campmates, Superbon and the recently-recruited Yodwicha in the event. Muay Thai star, Superbank Mor Rattanbandit who is due to appear on YOKKAO 37 on 23 March will also make his appearance on the show.
Leading man, Buakaw is set to take on Russian fighter, Artem Pashporin in the main event. The pair last met in the ring in 2015 where Buakaw took home a win via decision. The Thai superstar will be looking to further his undefeated record on All Star Fight with 7 straight wins to date. Pashporin is no walkover with notable wins over formidable athletes like Victor Nagbe and Jomthong Chuwattana.
After capturing the WBC European title at the recent YOKKAO 35 show in Italy, Spencer YOKKAOSaenchaiGym will make his promotional debut at this prestigious event. He will face Maksim Petkevich from Belarus in a 64-kg matchup for 3 rounds under full Muay Thai rules. The two young international fighters will be featured alongside athletes from Spain, Mongolia, Portugal, Ukraine and Russia.
